Project Vijay is a
flagship initiative aimed at
empowering tribal communities through computer education. Located in the tribal village of Urse in Vangoan, this project
bridges the digital divide by providing essential IT skills to
underprivileged students.
While working reliably for the welfare of tribes around the state,
we discovered indigenous tribes living in challenging conditions,
facing illiteracy, unemployment, and extremely low payments even
in the 21st century.
Through Project Vijay, we establish
fully functional computer labs at tribal schools and provide
NIIT-certified basic computer skills training to 9th-grade
students, setting them on a path to digital literacy and better
opportunities.
1. Setting up fully functional computer labs at tribal schools
2. Enrolling Grade 9 students to ensure early exposure to IT
skills
3. Training local teachers to sustain the program within the
community
4. Partnering with NIIT Foundation for certified curriculum
5. Running the program from November to April annually
6. Conducting assessment exams to evaluate student progress
7. Awarding NIIT certifications upon course completion
